The best Starbucks I have ever been to. 10/10 for customer service and community culture. I went a few weeks ago to study before watching a show a couple of blocks away at California School of the Arts. I was greeted and served by a friendly barista named Edgar. After ordering my drink (an iced peach green tea lemonade), it was brought to my table in a glass cup with a straw--something I've never experienced before at a Starbucks. I was curious about Starbucks new policies and Edgar kindly explained Starbucks new approach to pursuing "cafe culture." I stayed for a few hours because of the flash flood warnings and throughout that time, I got to see many customers come and go. There were several customers who seemed to be regulars and Edgar knew their order before they even had to ask. There were also several homeless gentlemen who came in to order a drink and escape the rain. The staff seemed familiar with them and also knew their orders. Every time an employee left for the day and clocked out, the rest of the staff gave their goodbyes and well wishes. All this to say that there was a strong sense of community that I've never seen at a Starbucks or maybe even at any cafe. I wish I lived closer or else I would be here every day! The only small downsides of this Starbucks are that it's pretty small (although there was enough seats for everyone inside so maybe it's not a problem for the area) and that the sinks/mirrors for the bathroom are in a public space, not in the single restrooms. I needed to do my makeup before my next engagement which meant doing my makeup at the sink where the other customers could see me which was a little awkward, but nothing terrible. The friendliness of the staff made this visit memorable and added a little extra brightness to my day to see "small town" gestures at Starbucks. I only wish I could've left a digital tip. I look forward to hopefully coming back again!

This location is always to busy, from the drive thru where I see so many aggressive people coming in off Huntington and cutting into the drive thru, where multiple cars are already in line from the other entrance. The parking is very limited and you will often get blocked in from the traffic going through the drive thru. Employees are super patient and helpful. My drinks have always been perfect. They have remodeled the inside and it is very nice.

Not a big Starbucks guy. I'm a once and a while visitor, and I think it's good. But, I'm not sure how people obsess over this coffee in particular. I love the app because every time I get a gift card, I have funds on it to support my 2 visits a year. Lol So I picked up an ice tea, green, with some fruit flavors.. sorry it was a cold tea, don't remember the exact name. It was good. Got some pastries too. They are good pastries. Mind not blown, but good. This location is clean. I thought it would be packed based on all the cars in their lot, but it wasn't. Just people taking up space from the other businesses. Staff was courteous, but even though I got my order in a decent amount of time, customers who were settled in before I arrived were still waiting on theirs. For that, I can see they are busy (especially with the drive thru) but not great at keeping up. Anyways, enjoy your Starbucks drinks, you crazy Stanley cup collecting coffee drinking Yelpers.
